Arthur Right Choice (Arthritis)

Arthritis Ireland have some people who are genuinely nice. Who are compassionate and understanding to all levels of the disease and more so to life lessons. So Tuesday rolled upon me again and this time my walking buddies were there, it was five strong today. Less than half way through I sensed everyone was just going through the motions and something inside me was eager to press on, luckily the lads (lads & ladies) were all up for a little extra walk. I surprised myself and Im thankful I did. It’s ok to suffer when you do something, trying is always better than not. Im not going to say Im loving walking as im not, im still not, however it is the way our bodies are designed to do this task.

I can tell you how long I will continue it. Especially now that I’m back in the saddle, but I can say its taught me to take my time and to listen carefully to what my body is telling me. Im yet to get DOMS (delayed onset of muscles soreness) from the walks but just over all fatigue & wrecked feeligns.
